Fasttrac New Venture for the Creative Industry

June 23, 2010

The creative economy is defined as the many industry sectors that center on providing creative services such as advertising, architecture, artists and non-profit cultural organizations, and entities creating and promoting products such as art, film, photography, computer games, multimedia, and design.

Creativity is now an economic hot property. If you are a creative entrepreneur in the 21st century, then your talent opens up the possibility of spectacular creative and commercial success.

Are you looking to use your creativity to unlock the wealth that lies within your brain? Do you have the business savvy to make your dreams a reality?

The Midlands is focusing our economic activities on supporting our cultural non-profits, individual artists, and creative industries, which we see as among the most important keys to economic development in the South Carolina.

To identify, nurture, and accelerate the creation of successful and sustainable creative industries in the Midlands of South Carolina, Midlands Technical College, EngenuitySC, and the SC Arts Commission are a launching a FastTrac NewVenture™ class focused on the creative economy.
