EngenuitySC is a catalyst for change. As a 501c3 non-profit corporation, EngenuitySC works in conjunction with a combination of public and private sector partnerships that in collaboration with other local initiatives, has helped the Columbia, SC region and our state flourish from the commercialization of ideas. The Idea is helping create an ecosystem of entrepreneurs whose locally grown businesses are creating a better environment- economically and developmentally, resulting in higher per capita incomes and a higher quality of life.
For great ideas to succeed they need inspiration, a great environment and cultivation. EngenuitySC works in collaboration with many programs, initiatives and organizations across the Columbia region to align business and entrepreneurial opportunities and then works diligently to nourish them. The alignment process takes shape in what we call an innovation pipeline that combines research, an entrepreneurial spirit, and investment capital.
With these three stages in the evolution of the idea, a start up or venture capitalist will know which components they need to get their innovation rolling as well as access to the resources to see it through to the creation of a sustainable business.
