South Carolina Centers of Economic Excellence
The South Carolina Centers of Economic Excellence (CoEE) Program serves the public interest by creating incentives for the state’s research universities, in cooperation with other institutions of higher education in the state, to raise capital from non-state sources to fund endowments for specialized research professorships. The CoEE Program supports research in areas that will help South Carolina companies grow, attract new business to the state, build a technology-rich economy, and create more opportunities for South Carolinians.
